Housing Benefit & Local Housing Allowance
Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit are paid by Local Authorities to help people who are on low incomes to meet the cost of rented accommodation and Council Tax. Local Housing Allowance is an important part of the Housing Benefit scheme but is not a seperate benefit.
This one day course is a thorough grounding in all the important issues relating to Housing Benefit including all the recent and forthcoming changes. it will enable participants to look at common problems and find practical solutions, an essential training session for workers who have to deal with Housing Benefit claims on a regular basis.
