Dual Diagnosis
Dual Diagnosis is a new label for an old issue people in the housing field have worked with for a long time i.e. people who have mental health issues and who use or are dependant upon drugs/alcohol. This one day introductory course will enable participates to understand the often confused and contested debate around dual diagnosis and the issues involved in trying to access services. It will also touch on what we can do when we cannot (or until) we access specialist services.

- Recognising the challenges of effective inter-agency working
- Increasing participants confidence when working with complex needs
