Homelessness Projects In Nottinghamshire
(Please note that this is a list of websites for homelessness projects, not a comprehensive list of homelessness services.  If you require details about supported housing projects for homeless people then why not purchase a copy of the HLG Hostels Directory 2004-05 (see publications).

Bassetlaw Women's Resource Centre 
Website provides information about the work of the centre, including details of their helpline, drop-in services, domestic violence unit and women's refuge. 

Framework Housing Association
Large local charity formed from the merger in 2002 of Macedon and Nottingham Help The Homeless Association.  Provide a range of accommodation, resettlement and other support services for homeless people in various parts of Nottinghamshire. 

Hope
Drop in centre for homeless people in Worksop.  Also runs a low cost furniture service, including a distressed service for people in need.

Kirkby Youth Housing Trust
Registered charity based in the Ashfield area, who provide hostel accommodation and other support services for young homeless people.  The Trust also runs a number of groups and activities for young people and families with young children, at the Kirkby Park Youth Centre which it also manages.  Full details of all these services can be found on their website.

NACRO - Nottinghamshire
Runs a number of projects for homeless people and those at risk of, or with a history of offending.

Newark Emmaus Trust
Local based charity providing accommodation and support to young homeless people in the Newark area.

New Roots
Bassetlaw based project offering accommodation and support in the Retford and Worksop areas for young homeless people.  Website contains particularly useful information for potential residents, including an on-line application form. 

Ozanam House
Link is to the Society of St Vincent de Paul website.  Ozanam House provides accommodation and support to young homeless women.

Rethink
Large national charity which provides a range of support and accommodation services for people with mental health needs.  The link will take you directly to the page for the Nottinghamshire area.  .

The Centre Place - Worksop
Drop-in centre for young people offering housing advice and personal support.  Website gives details of services provided and opening times.
