Homeless Watch - The Annual Snapshot Survey Of Homelessness

HLG has undertaken a number of Homeless Watch surveys over the years in different parts of the region hwatchowl(Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire and Derbyshire). Homeless Watch is an annual snapshot survey of homelessness carried out over a period of two weeks. It has become a key source of information about the extent and nature of homelessness in each of these areas.

Data collected from the Homeless Watch Survey is used to compile a comprehensive report detailing the level and nature of homelessness across a specific region. Alongside a main report, district reports are also produced specific to each of the local authority areas across a county.

The information from these reports has been used by local authorities in the review of local homelessness plans and strategies, including Supporting People funded services. Information from Homeless Watch is also used by many agencies to make the case for new or expanded services.

Information relating to Derbyshire and Northamptonshire Homeless Watch can be accessed below. Reports relating to Nottinghamshire Homeless Watch from 2004-2012 can be accessed through the Nottinghamshire Reports link below.
