Assertiveness - Increasing your Interper
This course is designed to give participants the appropriate communication skills to assert themselves in a wide range of situations at work and get positive results.
The proper use of assertive behaviour enables people to deal with work colleagues and clients in a way that gets things done yet is respectful.
These skills can help increase co-operation, reduce stress and improve working relationships.
Course content includes:
• Good communication skills that can enhance rapport and promote cooperation
• Simple techniques in assertive communication
• Exploring how to create win-win situations
• Utilising body language and voice tone more effectively
• Positive negotiating skills
• Positively asking for what you want, saying no and dealing with criticism
