Nottinghamshire
Nottinghamshire Homeless Watch is an annual snapshot survey of homelessness in Nottinghamshire and is a key source of information about homelessnes in the County. The survey is carried out on behalf of all of the local authorities in Nottinghamshire, including Nottingham City and is overseen by a steering group consisting of representatives from each of the local authorities across the County, as well as Nottinghamshire County Council, Supporting People and HLG.
Every year the data collected from the Homeless Watch Survey is used to compile a comprehensive report detailing the level and nature of homelessness across Nottinghamshire. Mini reports are also produced specific to each of the 8 local authority areas across Nottinghamshire, including Nottingham City.
The information from these reports has been used by local authorities in the review of local homelessness plans and strategies, including Supporting People funded services. Information from Homeless Watch is also used by many agencies to make the case for new or expanded services.
The Nottinghamshire Homeless Watch report for 2008 was published in April 2009 and is available to download below along with a selection of summary reports for each of the eight district authorities in the County.
