HLG Membership
HLG’s members are a vital part of the organisation. Over 100 projects and organisations across Nottingham, Nottinghamshire and beyond are already members of HLG and support our work.
Full HLG membership is open to voluntary organisations that deliver a service in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. As well as receiving member benefits, full members are able to have a say in how the organisation is run by voting at the AGM and electing representatives to the Management Committee. All of HLG’s Management Committee members are representatives of member organisations.
Voluntary organisations from Nottinghamshire or outside the County can also apply for affiliated membership. They receive the same benefits as full members, but are not able to vote at the AGM or stand for election to the Management Committee.

Discounts on most HLG training courses, which are specifically targeted at the needs of the supported housing and homelessness sectors. This alone could save you your membership fee.

11 issues per year of HLG’s “Homing In” newsletter, carrying updates on legislation & benefit changes and articles of interest to the homelessness and related sectors.

Free distribution of flyers through HLG’s newsletter mailing to around 200 local organisations and projects

Special mailings are also available for a small fee

Discounts on placing job advertisements on HLG’s new Website

Occasional briefing papers, bulletins and special interest mailings on major issues or changes affecting the sector
- Access through our Resource Team to advice, information and support on supported housing and related issues. We have recently carried out a survey of all of our members and will be making some improvements to our member services as a result. Details will be announced soon.
