HLG Services - Resource Team
The HLG Resource Service provides information, advice, support, training and representation to HLG members and voluntary sector organisations working with homeless and other vulnerable people. The team also works to foster constructive relationships between the voluntary and statutory sector.
Resource Team staff also organise and participate in a wide range of inter-agency meetings and forums, where the views of organisations providing services for homeless people and people needing housing and support can be reflected. The service is funded by Nottingham City Council, Nottinghamshire County Council and the Big Lottery Fund.

Over 200 local organisations receive our monthly newsletter, making it an effective and targeted medium through which to circulate job vacancies, fliers about events or open days. To include a flyer in 'Homing In', is free for HLG members and £35 for non members.
We now also provide an enhanced advertising service for job vacancies. Our jobs page aims to help promote vacancies in your organisation to potentical applicants in the homelessness and housing-related support sectors. The cost to advertise paid jobs is £25 per vacancy for members and £75 for non members. Your advertisement will remain on the page until the closing date for applications. Representation and Consultation
HLG Resource organises and administers a variety of forums and working groups, as well as attending a number of strategic meetings and other steering groups. Through these forums and meetings, HLG is able to bring organisations together for networking and discussion and also reflect the views of the sector at a strategic level. We also often bring people together for local and national consultation exercises, in order to provide a collective response to issues affecting the housing and homelessness sector.
