HLG Membership

HLG's members are a vital part of the organisation. Over 100 projects and organisations across Nottingham, Nottinghamshire and beyond are already members of HLG and support our work.

Full HLG membership is open to voluntary organisations that deliver a service in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. As well as receiving member benefits, full members are able to have a say in how the organisation is run by voting at the AGM and electing representatives to the Management Committee. All of HLG's Management Committee members are representatives of member organisations.

Voluntary organisations from Nottinghamshire or outside the County can also apply for affiliated membership. They receive the same benefits as full members, but are not able to vote at the AGM or stand for election to the Management Committee.

Membership benefits include:

• Discounts on most HLG training courses, which are specifically targeted at the needs of the supported housing and homelessness sectors. This alone could save you your membership fee.
• Free access to HLG's online homlessness directory
• Discount on HLG open consultancy and support services
• 11 issues per year of HLG's "Homing In" e-bulletin, carrying updates on legislation & benefit changes and articles of interest to the homelessness and related sectors.
• Free job advertisements on HLG's Website.
• Occasional briefing papers, bulletins and special interest mailings on major issues or changes affecting the sector.
• Ability to nominate to and vote for Committee membership
