Why people get involved
HLG’s involvement Policy
HLG has an Involvement Policy which was developed in 2005 by people who use HLG services and the staff. The policy states that HLG’s involvement aim is:
“A conscious move towards a fairer sharing of power, influence and value among the people who work at HLG and all those who use its services”.
Since 2005 a number of groups and activities have developed which have given people the chance to get more involved. This section of our website looks at all the ways that people could be involved in HLG and how HLG can help and support them to be more involved.

By attending the Involvement Group or the Sounding Board service users can really influence life at HLG.
