Improving Communication
Skills with NLP

This two-day course introduces practical NLP techniques to make your communication with clients and colleagues (and anyone else) more effective. It includes strategies that gently challenge and allow people to break free of unhelpful thinking patterns. It seeks to provide some new and creative choices in working with clients.

The field of NLP studies the structure of experience, and how we communicate with ourselves and others. It is increasingly being used in a wide range of fields from therapy and training to management and organisational change.

Course Content Includes:

• The basic principles of NLP
• How to get better rapport with your clients
• Some basic techniques in NLP change work
• How to ask questions that elicit the information you need (and avoid misunderstandings)
• How common thinking patterns get people stuck, and how to help them get unstuck
• Help clients create goals that motivate
• Understand how to harness body/mind states to influence behaviour
• Stimulate clients’ unconscious resources and solutions
