HLG IN-HOUSE TRAINING

Introducing…

HLG TRAINING SERVICES

HLG has been organising training courses since 1992. The training programme started with specialist training in areas of particular concern to workers in projects for homeless people, such as drugs and alcohol and mental health. Over the years the programme has expanded to include a wide range of courses relevant to the provision of accommodation and support services to homeless and other vulnerable people.

The training courses running in the main programme take place in HLG’s training suite located in central Nottingham, with easy access to the tram and bus services. A wide range of delegates from projects and organisations throughout the East Midlands attend our courses, providing workers with a unique opportunity to share ideas, information and increase their knowledge and practical skills.

You may want to send just one person on a course, you may want to send six!  If you wish to train more than six people on the same course, you should talk to our Training Co-ordinator – Kevin O’Connor, who may be able to offer you a discount.  More than eight delegates and it may be more cost effective for your organisation to host an in-house course.

All of the courses from the main programme and more (see below) are available nationwide on an in-house basis tailored to the needs of your organisation from as little as £40 per delegate (based on a group of 16).  If you can't see the course you require - perhaps on a specialist topic - talk to our Training Co-Ordinator  Kevin O'Connor who will design a course and provide the right trainer to precisely meet the needs of your organisation.
