INTRODUCTION TO EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE (EFT)

EFT is a new, simple to use technique designed to help with physical and emotional issues. It is a Complimentary Therapy that utilises the body's energy system; it has been likened to 'emotional acupressure'. It is completely non-invasive and the client is shown how to use it themselves.

It is rapidly gaining popularity and respect around the world.  A large number of case reports indicate growing promise and this new therapy is accumulating evidence of effectiveness. Practitioners in a wide range of areas are finding it a useful tool that complements and supports existing skills and interventions. It can fit alongside other approaches to enhance personal well being.

This highly experimental one-day course aims to give participants an introduction to this exciting complementary approach to helping others and looking after themselves.

This course offers an introduction to the technique with ample opportunity to learn, practice and evaluate the procedure during the training.

Course content includes:

  • What is EFT and some history of the technique

  • The interaction between negative emotions and the energy system

  • How a healthy energy system can improve emotional and physical health

  • Learning the basic EFT procedure and practice applying it

  • How to identify and focus on issues to work on with the EFT procedure

  • How to know what is working and what else needs working on

  • Using EFT for relaxation and to help with sleep problems

  • Applying EFT to anxiety and cravings

  • How to work with physical symptoms and pain

  • Using it to help develop self acceptance and positive thinking

  • Materials and resources will be provided to enable participants to further develop their knowledge and skills after the course
